YESSE KOPPEN

I've always been active, but it wasn't untill I started running that I truly began to develop my love for sports. I experienced first-hand how important movement is for your mental health. How it can start as an escape and turn into something that helps you to rediscouver a love for life.

At the time, I was batteling depression and an eating dissorder. Running gave me an escape. An escape from my thoughts and the problems in my life.

But over the years that escape started to turn into something I enjoyed, something that gave me passion. A passion to challenge myself and to make the most out of this life. Not to see how much pain I can endure, but to see how far I can go while keeping a smile on my face.

The science behind a trainingprogram has always interested me. That's why I've been self-coached for the past four years - researching, testing and refining the approach through trial and error.

I’ve crossed the finish line of several races, such as two full-distance triathlons, multiple marathons, and a 100k ultramarathon. Along the way, I’ve prioritized injury prevention and strength training to ensure that the heavy demands of training don’t lead to burnout or injury.

Now, I use that same blend of empathy and evidence-based training to help you. My goal is to show you that you can be an ambitious athlete without losing your balance, your joy, or your mental health.

Who I Help

All levels, all distances, all over the world. No matter what your goals are.

How I Do It

Every program is based on your goals and your life. You'll notice there'll be a lot of low intensity training. You have to go slow in order to get fast.

What I need from you

I need you to WANT this. I'll motivate you as much as you need, but at the end of the day, YOU are the one that needs to do the work.
